Asia Capital Group is delighted to welcome Dr. Chi Zhang as Senior Consultant in Commercial Law to our Global Advisory Team. Dr. Zhang is a distinguished Lecturer at the School of Law, University of Glasgow, with an impressive academic and research background.

Dr. Zhang holds an LL.B. and a Master of Law (Research) from Tsinghua University, as well as a Ph.D. in Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow. Since joining the University of Glasgow in 2019, he has made significant contributions to the field of commercial law. His previous teaching experience at China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) further underscores his dedication to academic excellence.

Dr. Zhang’s expertise encompasses corporate law, business trusts and investment funds law, financial investment law, with a particular emphasis on Chinese business law. His current research includes projects focused on the international financial regulatory dimensions of the Belt & Road Initiatives and the internationalization of China’s securities regulation. His extensive publications in leading commercial law journals are a testament to his thought leadership and in-depth knowledge in these fields.
